  • How often should I have my floors cleaned?  For residential homes we recommend professional floor cleaning every 12 months.  For commercial spaces or high-traffic areas, more frequent cleaning may be necessary to maintain appearance and air quality. We offer a Maintenance Plan including cleanings at regular intervals.

  • What areas do you service? We proudly serve residential and commercial clients in Lancaster County, SC and the surrounding areas including Lancaster, Indian Land, Van Wyck, Catawba, Rock Hill, Pageland, Fort Lawn, Landsford, Chester, Great Falls, Heath Springs, Kershaw, Liberty Hill, and Lake Wateree!   • How do I schedule a cleaning or get a quote?  Simply call us or fill out our online contact form to initiate the process! With some details or pictures from you, we can give an estimate remotely. On-site visits are also offered to give an accurate quote.

  • Do you offer a discounted price for churches?  Churches are more than buildings.  We approach every church cleaning with care, respect, and attention to detail.  In support of local congregations, Earnest Floor Care offers a standing 20% discount for all places of worship.  We’re always happy to answer questions or talk through your needs.

  • Are your chemicals safe?  Absolutely!  We prioritize your health by using eco-friendly commercial-grade cleaning solutions that are safe for people and pets!

  • How long does a typical cleaning appointment take?  Most residential carpet or floor cleaning jobs take between 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the size and condition of the areas.  We always provide an estimated time when scheduling your appointment.

  • Is furniture moving included in your pricing?  In most cases, there’s no need to move heavy furniture ahead of your appointment. We’re happy to work around and, when safe, move lighter pieces that can be handled by one person. For heavier items—such as beds, dining tables, or large dressers—we typically clean around them. If full furniture moving is needed, it can be included as part of the service and discussed during your estimate.

  • What is low moisture floor cleaning, and how is it different from traditional methods?  Low moisture cleaning uses minimal water, specialized solutions, and commercial floor care equipment to clean carpets and hard floors effectively without soaking them.  This means faster drying times of 1-2 hours when compared to traditional hot water extraction, which can take 12-24 hours. We also use hot water extraction when appropriate for impacted carpets and upholstery.

  • Do you clean and refinish hardwood floors?  We do not perform a full sand and refinish. Rather, we offer a screen & recoat service. This is great for hardwood floors when the finish has scuffed and lost its luster over time. This one day service entails a thorough cleaning followed by abrading the existing finish, which we then apply two coats of water-based polyurethane to revitalize the appearance and add a protective coating to the hardwood. A great benefit of a screen & recoat is that it doesn’t cause the dust and disruption of full sanding but still delivers great results! We also offer an extensive hardwood cleaning service that can address general grime buildup as well as intensive wax and residue removal.

  • Is low moisture cleaning safe for all types of carpets?  Yes!  Low moisture is a great method of cleaning and revitalizing hard floors and carpet alike! This removes the risk of oversaturating hardwood or laminate flooring, and it’s safe on all carpet fibers, including wool, nylon, and synthetic blends.  It effectively removes dirt and allergens without damaging the carpet backing or fibers.

  • Do you offer any guarantees or warranties? We stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee.  We follow up after every completed job to ensure expectations were met. If you’re not happy with any aspect of our service, please let us know, and we will make it right.

  • What are your hours of operation? Our regular hours are Monday through Friday 9 am to 7 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. We are happy to schedule projects on evenings and weekends to accommodate our clients’ schedules.
